Payment Policy
Q. What is your payment policy?
A. Payment is due upfront. As for the payment itself, preferably cash or paypal.
Q. Do you accept business from anyone below the age of 18?
A. Yes! Only if they are serious and understand the whole payment process.
Refund Policy
Q. Can I get a refund?
A. No, sorry! The reason for this is cause I’m one of the cheapest web designers you will find. I spend a lot more time on projects then others are willing to at the price I charge. Therefore loosing little profit that I gain would damage me since I’m all about spending quality time on each project and need to earn a living.
Contact Methods
Q. What is your preferred method for keeping in touch?
A. E-mail and instant messaging. The reason for this is my verbal skills have never been a strength of mine so I am able to communicate much more clearly by typing it out.
Q. What is the fastest way to get in touch with you?
A. The fastest way to contact me is by clicking on live support above the SMDIMAGES logo. If live support is offline it will say so but you can still click it and send a message I just won't be able to reply instantly unless I'm online.

A. No sorry, my work revolves around digital imaging.
Q. What kinds of scripting languages do you use?

A. Mainly Photoshop, Illustrator, Fireworks, Word, Dreamweaver & Flash.

Web Design
Q. Why should I have a website?
Having a website is an investment into the future! But the main focus is what your goals are and what you want to do with the site. Once you figure that out you will be dieing for one!
Q. Why do I need a professional web designer when I can make it myself?
I use to think like that before I ventured into becoming one. A website is nothing simple. It might look simple but there is so much involved it’s almost impossible to grasp. You have to know scripting, designing, marketing, audiences, browsers and so much more. Going with a professional will pretty much guarantee you a successful site if they know the in’s and out’s of how to create and market your product on the web which a lot of amateurs don’t really understand.
Q. What’s the point of paying for a site when I can make one for free on MySpace?
I think a lot of people don’t really understand how business on the web really works that is if it’s new to you. The problem with MySpace and other free social networking sites are they make a profit off of each profile or page that is made. You’re one more person to add to the sites traffic; the more traffic the more money they most likely will bring in. So they are basically feeding off of you and using you as pawns. Another problem with those kinds of sites are the advertising, which plays a major part of the web. But if you want a professional site, which you own, then there really are no limits whereas there are tons of limits on social networking sites. Sure MySpace is good for networking but it’s defiantly not a wise decision to make it you’re primary page for business.
Q. How do I make a website?
A. Creating websites is no easy task and involves quiet a lot of time and knowledge about the field of web design and the World Wide Web in general. There are several languages, programs, and rules you must have to understand and also keep in mind while designing and developing. The programs themselves can take years to learn but you don’t need to know every aspect. But the languages of the web are much more important and also take a lot of time to remember, understand, and implement them correctly especially programming.
I could continue all day but probably couldn’t finish the question without a book of pages explaining all of it. There are easy ways such as using someone else’s templates but I don’t recommend going that way as they aren’t designed specifically for your own requirements and most likely won’t be unique unless you purchase all rights to that specific template, which are usually very expensive.
Logo Design
Q. What is a logo?
A. A logo is the symbol that identifies your firm to the world, so it has to be powerful, effective, and memorable.
Digital Artwork
Q. What is digital art?
A. Digital art is art that is all digital. For instance, making something in Photoshop would be digital art.
Q. What is the difference between digital art and photography?
A. This is kind of my own theory but anything that needs more then brightness/contrast and a few color alterations would be considered digital art. If I combine photos together or something and when it takes a few hours to do so then I would classify it as digital art since I am basically tearing apart pictures and making them lean more towards something completely different then just a photograph (which only needs a few corrections at most).
Photography
Q. What types of things do you photograph?
A. My favorite thing to photograph would be nature but I also take pictures of other stuff.
Q. Do you use film or digital?
A. I use to use film but once digital came out I couldn’t keep my hands off it mainly because I grew up when the digital age was just getting started. The good thing about digital is if you make a mistake you can correct it whereas with film it’s all pretty much permanent. Also Photoshop is another reason why I like digital cause I love to alter photos all the time.
Q. What kind of camera do you have?
A. I use to own a Canon D-30/D-60 but have transferred to Nikon D-70. Canon was a good brand and their white lenses were awesome but Nikon wins since it’s got better flash support in my opinion.
About This Site
Q. Is this the only design you made?
A. Absolutely not, I’ve remade my site hundreds of times mainly because I like to change stuff a lot. But the design will most likely stay for a bit since the most important key is content which I plan on expanding.
Q. Why isn’t your site in flash?
A. Flash is highly overrated and misused on the web. It might look cool but really puts a hassle on dial-up users. Loading can be a big turn off for users as they don’t want to sit and wait over a minute for stuff to load up unless they are patient enough. A good thing to use flash on is a site for an upcoming movie release. There are also more pros and cons with using flash but the majority of my site seems to fit perfectly without it since my focus is content.
Q. What features do you plan on adding in the near future?
A. Only time can tell but I might have a forum up and running possibly. I also am developing a client control panel for clients to use. I also might add tutorials shortly as well.
